November 2016 Goals

Monthly Goals with Ange and Carmy

I cannot believe that it is pretty much November! I have a huge list of things to do in November. I’ll actually be escaping the cold in Toronto in favour of the sun over in Portugal! So for November, my goals will be keeping that fact that I’m out of town in mind.

1. Take 10 000 steps a day.


While I want to make my goal to run a minimum of 3 times a week, I’m going to change it to 10 000 steps a day instead. I’m not sure how often I’ll be running while in Portugal so I much rather have a step goal than distance goal for the month.

2. Work on sleeping 8 hours a night

While I know I need more than 8 hours personally, I’ve been under 8 recently and have been feeling it for sure. I spent all of yesterday exhausted despite getting 8 hours. My body was probably still recovering from Montreal and will have to adjust again for the 6 hour time difference for Portugal. Hopefully in November I will be well rested.

3. Lifting/Strengthening

Can we try this again? Instead lets aim for 2 times a week. I’ve been to the gym twice last week to strengthen and I feel like it should be do-able for the time being. I’ll have to see how creative I get for Portugal!

4. Work on freelancing

  1. Love this months goals! I also need to work on getting more sleep! I’ve added, or upped, strength back in this week after doing less strength the last month. We use to do 3 days one week and 2 the next as it seemed to work well with my husbands running. I find I stay on schedule and am more active on vacation, it’s funny. Have fun in Portugal!

  2. I have lots of similar goals! I usually get 8 hrs a night bc I will get so cranky if I don’t! One of my major goals is to put more energy into my blog and improve my photography skills.

  3. I always get enough sleep because I just can’t function otherwise (it was a huge problem when I had morning classes LOL) but your other three goals are basically the same ones I’ve had for the last 3 months. I seriously need to get it together.

  4. I don’t have any goals for the rest of the year. I’m working on building my business, growing my blog and learning all that I can about the business side of being an independent contractor. Busy but no goals until Jan.
