The Perfect Gift Guide for Runners

Last year I had posted a Under $20 Stocking Stuffers for Runners gift guide. This year, I’ve put together another gift guide – this time without a pricing limit, making it perfect for any occasion! Use this gift guide for runners as inspiration for your own shopping list for the fellow runner in your lives or pass it on to friends and family to give them ideas of what you would love this year – Christmas or birthday!

Use this gift guide for runners as inspiration for your own shopping list for the fellow runner in your lives or pass it on to friends and family to give them ideas of what you would love this year1. Polar M400*

I currently run with the Polar M400 (review). I love both dearly and cannot imagine running without one! My Polar M400 is rarely not on my wrist!

2.  Spiralizer® *

The spiralizer is an inexpensive tool that turns fresh veggies into faux-noodles/zoodles! It isn’t just for those avoiding carbs as it’s a great way to make sure you’re getting your veggies in!

3. TriggerPoint GRID Foam Roller *

I can’t live without one! Perfect for athletes – it’ll help roll out the kinks and is great for when you cannot get to the massage therapist.

4.  Mizuno Breath Thermo Softshell Jacket

I bought a breath thermo top for myself last year and trust me when I say – once you go thermo, you can’t go back! If I wasn’t on a budget, I’d have a closet full of breath thermo!

5. Brooks Running Run Happy Top

I have the exact one listed and I absolutely love it. One – it’s a perfect reminder for runners because who doesn’t want to run happy and two – it is SO soft. I don’t ever want to take it off!

6. Gaiam Marrakesh Print Premium Yoga Mat (5mm)*

Help remind us runners to stretch!

7. Vega Sport Performance *

Vega is a vegan protein powder and it’s packed with tons of vitamins, minerals and greens! What’s not to love about it? I’ve been using it for over a year now and I’m loving it!

So tell me, what’s on your wishlist this year?

  1. Love the M400 too and now that they can sync to stravan it’s even better. hope the new version comes with an optical HR monitor.

oh and the spiralizer is supper cool too 🙂

    thanks for this post.

  2. I’ll take one of each please!
I can’t believe how many spirolizers are on people’s lists this year.
    Go Veg Go!

Hope you have an incredible holiday this year and that things aren’t TOO chilly out there.

    • As someone who dislikes zucchinis, I had zucchini zoodles the other day and fell in LOVE. I definitely need a spiralizer! And would you believe me if I said Toronto is haven’t a freaky weather season and it’s still snow free and sunny?

      • A few months ago my mum bought me the PC spiralizer on sale for $15.(reg.$25). I wasn’t able to find it anywhere downtown though. She found it in the burbs of Scarborough/Pickering. I’d been looking for it forever. It’s a great deal if you can still find it.

        • I’m going to have to go hunting during the sale period! I seriously want a spiralizer! Thanks for letting me know, I’ll make my Scarborough friends stay on the look out 🙂

  3. I need a new running watch this year – mine refuses to hold a battery charge for more than 20 minutes at a time now. I also really want a spiralizer, because I currently just peel the veggies over and over again to make wide noodles, haha. It’d be nice to streamline that process 🙂

  4. Thanks for posting. I was thinking of getting either a polar or a garmin watch for running. I told my husband I wanted one as a holiday gift. I can not wait to see which one he gets me

  5. I love spiralizing things (I’ve had zoodles an embarrassing number of times in the past week…) and I think that I’m going to ask for the spiralizer attachment for my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer for xmas.

  6. The foam roller looks amazing! This would be perfect for working out leg cramps or a sore back. You’ve put together a great list here – I have more than one runner on my list so this will be really helpful.

  7. I have a spiraliser which I use (mainly for courgetti!) and also a foam roller, which I love and would highly recommend. However, I really like the sound and look of that Mizuno jacket – I think that may go on my list!

  8. I do not run nearly as much as I should these days – I have lagged off a lot but I need to get back into it soon! One thing I really would want from this list is the Mizuno Breath Thermo Softshell Jacket, it would be perfect for running in NY in the cold weather! 😀

  9. I love this list I have a friend who is a runner and was clueless what to help her husband get her. I have heard great things about spiralizers for eating healthy. I have wanted to get one for a while now.

  10. Looks like you’ve got everything covered for runners. I used to run a fair bit. I love the Spiralizer and I wish I had a Polar M400 when I was running! I like Mizuno’s running wear too!
