A few posts ago, I mentioned that Sherman and I was going to start a new series aimed to helping to build a better runner and ways to have a gym free work out from either home or directly after your run outside! I’ve been having a hard time recently making it to the gym so these gym free workouts are going to help me get my strengthening in (and save me some gym fees!)
Every week Sherman and I are going to try and post a work out. If you need more instructions regarding any of the exercises posted, you can head on over to Sherman’s blog and he’ll have a more detailed breakdown of the circuit.
This week, my goal is to do this at least twice a week after my runs. I personally find the burpees the most difficult in this circuit so I’m going to modify it by doing it 3 sets of 5 to begin with and work my way up!
Lemme know what you think of this! Join me and let me know how it goes. I would love to get feedback and have you join me in building a better runner!

Fun! I think that people think that strength is largely a product of gyms and weights, but there is so much running strength and technique to be developed by doing these types of moves. Looking forward to more!

I love body-weight exercises! So simple and you can do them almost anywhere.

I love this post. I am always telling people that they don’t need fancy gym equipment to workout! I wish they would start listening to me..haha!
