So I finally ran! Wednesday was my first run since my half marathon! I had some ITB pain but I powered through 5k and went home to roll that sucker out.  It was worrisome but after rolling and taking a hot Epsom salt bath, it seemed to feel better so I reattempted a short run on Sunday and I was 80% pain free!  Woo!  My ITB only started hurting at the very end when I was going up a hill which I really shouldn’t have so lesson learnt.

Now… enough of me blabbering about my run and on to the giveaway!

So a couple weeks ago, I was at a housewarming party and my friend had this bag of popcorn.  It was a mix of cheddar and caramel and I was totally unsure of it.  He assured me it tasted great and my reaction was “umm… are you sure?”  He assured me so I tried some.  And by some I mean I ate most of the bag.  I loved it! Haha so two weeks ago, I sent them an email and well, G.H. Cretors has kindly sponsored a giveaway!  One lucky reader will win a box of 24 single portion bags!

If you follow me on Instagram then you’d know that I’ve been eating their Chicago Mix popcorn when I study and that I have a slight problem as I cannot stop eating them!

HAPPINESS on my lap! @ghcretors ♡♡♡♡♡♡

So other than being delicious, what’s so great about G.H. Cretors? Well they’re made with all-natural ingredients completely free of GMO’s, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.  The mix of cheese and caramel will hit that craving you have as it’s simultaneously sweet, salty, crunchy and cheesy!  Their popcorn is naturally gluten free, certified Kosher and made using special, “mushroom” variety popping corn.  An easy and healthy way to satisfy your carving!  The caramel corn is made the old fashioned way: by hand, in copper kettles. Cane sugar, brown rice syrup (a non-GMO alternative to corn syrup with a lower glycemic impact) and real butter is heated over a flame and then stirred slowly by hand. You really can’t get any better than that can you?  I love having guilt free ways to snack and finding healthier alternatives to snack foods is always great!  Check out the ingredients: gh Isn’t it nice to snack on something where you can actually pronounce the ingredients and don’t have to use all your fingers and toes to count?

  1. There is a major cold front sweeping the nation right now, so while last week may of been good, this week will be a chilly and windy training week.

  2. For some reason I don’t like caramel (maybe I don’t have taste buds? haha), but good luck to everyone else entering!!!!

I’m so glad you had an 80% pain free run! Almost back to 100%!

    • haha I think I know what you mean. I used to not like caramel when I was younger but when I tried it again this time, I was in love. It’s not overly sweet like the ones I’ve had in the past! and yes! 80% is in improvement over stabbing pain 😀 haha

  3. Hey, I see you ran the STWM half marathon– I did too!!! Since I can’t (well, refuse to) run when it’s cold and dark, I’ve been doing treadmill workouts + resistance training since after the half. I was pretty good last week clocking in 18miles in total + yoga practice. And my go to snack is Peanut Butter + banana wrap!

I follow you in IG that’s why I know about this. @lettersandlaces

  4. Coincidentally, popcorn and cheese are two of my favorite snacks!! 🙂

Training has been pretty relaxed lately, which is nice, just base building and keeping things loose for the next cycle!

  5. I’m finally starting to get back on track with my training – it’s a relief to be able to get out there and run again! (you know what that’s like)
Right now, my favourite go-to snack is HoneyCrisp Apples while they’re still remotely in season.
That said, I’m a sucker for Chicago Mix popcorn. I got hooked on it in Chicago a couple years ago, and I just can’t stay away.
