My 3 hour per week goal of working out? I think I’m smashing it. But I did kind of cheat but hey, it’s still a workout! Wednesday, H had to go into work so he dropped me off at the gym where I ran for 22 minutes before going to the spin bike and hanging out on it until he came to pick me up after work. If it was my usual schedule, I probably would not have been able to just sit on the bike for 2.5 hours but since I had nothing planned, I biked while he worked!
Thursday I didn’t want to go outside because it was cold (but not cold enough to have gelato haha) so I wanted to work out at home. I did my physio and a quick strengthening routine to get the heart pumping.
- 3×10, side left lifts with resistance band (each side)
- 3×10, kick backs with resistance band (each side)
- 3×10, jump squats
- 1 x 10, 1 x 15, glute bridges (elevated)
- 2 x 10, 1 x 15, single leg deadlifts
- 2 x 10, reverses lunge to knee up
Friday I decided to literally run an errand as I went to drop off a Beauty and the Beast pin I bought moooonths ago at Disney World (here’s my WIAW post for Disney) for Queenie. I cannot wait to see the new movie! Anyone else watch it yet? We watched Kong: Skull Island on Tuesday and I’m trying to convince H that our next outing needs to be Beauty and the Beast 😉
Sunday the girls and I headed out for brunch. I had the brisket with potatoes and egg which meant it was off to the gym for an easy 5K afterwards.
