Last Week’s Workouts
Monday – ARMS
Tuesday – 10K + CORE WORK
Wednesday – BADMINTON
Thursday – 8K (8 HILLS)
Friday – REST
Saturday – REST
Sunday – 16K + CORE WORK
This week was honestly filled with highs and lows. First high was running 10K on the treadmill in just a bit over an hour. After weeks of running slowly in the snow, I was honestly feeling a little iffy about whether or not I’ll ever run 10K in under an hour again, it felt pretty good that I was able to finish the 10K in 1:04. I honestly felt amazing!
However, Thursday knocked me down a couple pegs. I was 8K into my 11K and was feeling rough. My calf started cramping, I felt horrible, and I was just not feeling it. Sooooooo yeah. That was a rough night so I had a couple slices of pizza after.
Sunday was both great and not too great. My knee bugged me a bit but that’s most likely because over the week, my entire body was tight AF so I definitely need to roll everything out this week! BUT I was feeling pretty great because while at the half way point of my run, I tackled a pretty long hill and I felt amazing – I wasn’t feeling gassed and I was pretty psyched after!
Also, unrelated but I binge watched Helix and Travelers on Netflix, Westworld, and ate a ton of popcon which was a pretty solid way to spend the week off.
