Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl
Earlier in the new year in my 5 Easy Changes for a Healthier New Year, I shared the one way to have a healthier new year is by introducing the Mann’s Fresh Vegetables Nourish Bowls if you wanted to start the year with a healthier diet. The Nourish Bowls are an easy way to introduce some more vegetables into your meal if you’re having trouble doing so. They are easily a stand alone meal itself (especially if you are a vegetarian) and are so easy to pack for work or just pick up on your lunch break at the store. They’re super easy to make. You just mix the packet of salsa into the bowl, microwave for 3 minutes, and then top off with the shredded cheese.
Today I’m sharing with you how to turn the Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl (blend of cauliflower, kale, kohlrabi, sweet potatoes, black beans, chipotle corn salsa & shredded cheddar cheese) up a notch by using it in three different meals! I know many of my readers here are meat eaters so here’s how I incorporate meat into my nourish bowls!

Chicken Salad with the Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl
The first dish I have is a delicious chicken salad with the nourish bowl. While the Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl already has 11 grams of protein, I’m upping the protein factor with a chicken breast. To keep things healthy and simple, I baked a chicken breast in parchment paper at 420F for 17 minutes with a bit of salt, lemon slices, honey, and garlic. This simple chicken mixed with the Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl is the perfect pair as to not overpower and fight the flavour of the salsa and cheese. The nourish bowl is the hero of the show here and the chicken is just it’s sidekick!
Southwest Chipotle Chicken Wrap
If you have leftover chicken, this Southwest Chipotle Chicken Wrap is perfect for you! All you need is your Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl, leftover/shredded chicken, and some guacamole to compliment the salsa that comes with the Nourish Bowl. Drizzle a bit of lime on top and wrap it up and boom, an easy chicken wrap lunch.
Southwest Chipotle Tacos
Last but not least, tacos tacos tacos. It doesn’t have to be #TacoTuesday for you to enjoy some tacos! My favourite way of using the Southwest Chipotle Nourish Bowl is by using it as a healthier taco filling! I cooked up some ground beef on the stovetop (salt, garlic powder, pepper, and some chili flakes) and then scooped it into the taco shells with the Nourish Bowl topped off with the shredded cheese and guacamole.

Love how you managed to make this into 3 different types of dishes. I am a vegetarian who tries to keep my nutrition on point so this is perfect for me. This could also be a great dish for food prep. A couple of tacos, wraps and nourish bowls for the week (:

What delicious ways to use the ingredients in the Southwest bowl. We are huge southwestern taste lovers — we’d enjoy any and all ways that it is prepared. How convenient that you can purchase the ingredients that way. Will have to check it out at our grocery store.
