Toss the sourdough in garlic herb butter and bake to dry it out.

In a pot or skillet, cook the onions, garlic, mushroom, and celery.

Add the ground sausage.

In a bowl, combine the bread, sausage mixture, cheese, egg, sage, and broth.

Transfer to a baking dish and bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
