Have you ever made Homemade Peanut Butter? Homemade Peanut Butter is so easy to make at home and is much cheaper and tastier than store bought! Here's how to make your own and 3 easy variations!
Start with 1 cup of roasted unsalted peanuts in the food processor.
Blend until the peanuts breakdown into peanut butter. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Honey Vanilla Peanut Butter
Stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 tbsp honey into the finished peanut butter. Do not blend. I find that the blending the honey in can cause the peanut butter to seize up and break. Instead gently stir it in.
Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter
Once your peanut butter has formed, blend in 1-2 tbsp of ground cinnamon. Then gently stir in half a cup of raisins. Stir in additional honey or maple syrup if desired.
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Blend in up to 2 tbsp of cocoa powder into the finished peanut butter. Stir in chocolate chips if you desire.
Notes
1 cup of peanuts makes a between 1/2 cup to just under 1 cup peanut butter.
