¼cuphojicha leavesor tea leaves of choice
½cuphot water
2cupsmilkor non-dairy milk of choice
Instructions
Add the hojicha tea leaves into a large airtight mason jar.
Add freshly boiled water to the tea. Allow the tea to brew for a minute.
Add in the milk.
Store the milk in the fridge overnight. The colour of the milk might change depending on the tea you use but as you can see up above, my hojicha milk tea only darkened slightly.
When ready to enjoy, strain the tea leaves and drink as is.
Notes
For a sweeter milk tea, add ½ tablespoon of brown sugar to the tea leaves and hot water. Stir to combine before adding the milk.
