In a small saucepan, over medium-high heat the milk along with the black tea and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar (or more). Careful not to have the temperature too high or you’ll burn your milk. Once the milk has started to simmer, turn off the heat and steep the black tea in the milk for 10 minutes. Feel free to chill the milk afterwards or enjoy it warm.
Meanwhile, spoon the grass jelly from the can (it doesn’t have to be uniform. I like spooning different sized pieces) into another saucepan. Add 3 tablespoons of brown sugar with 3 tablespoons of water (or more) to the grass jelly and simmer until the brown sugar syrup has thickened to your liking.
In a two glasses, divide the grass jelly with brown syrup and milk tea equally. Stir and enjoy.
