sheet pan
parchment paper
freezer-safe container
Ingredients
garlic
as much or as little as you'd like
Instructions
Peel the garlic. Make sure to cut off the tough root end.
Place the garlic in a single layer on a lined sheet pan. A little overlap is fine but avoid creating a pile on the sheet pan.
Flash freeze the garlic cloves (covered or uncovered) for 2 to 3 hours, or until frozen. This depends on how cold you set your freezer.
Transfer the frozen garlic cloves into a
freezer-safe airtight container
or
bag
. You can also
vacuum seal
them as well.
Freeze for up to 6 months.
