In a cast iron skillet with some olive oil on it, add 4 burger patties. Cook them for around 4 to 6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness and size of your burgers. Add an extra minute if they were frozen. Set aside.
Add 1 slice of cheese to each burger and melt, cover with a skillet lid and melt cheese for 1-2 minutes. Set aside the patties.
