Instructions
How to Cook Jasmine Rice on the Stovetop:
Rinse the rice in water and drain two to three times or until the water runs clearer.
Add the rinsed rice and the measured water into a saucepan.
Cover the saucepan and bring the water to boil.
Reduce the heat to low, and let the rice simmer in the saucepan for around 9 to 10 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed.
When done, turn off the heat and let the rice stay covered in the pot for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork or rice paddle before serving.
How to Cook Jasmine Rice in the Instant Pot:
Rinse the rice in water and drain two to three times or until the water runs clearer.
Add in the rinsed rice and measured water into the Instant Pot liner.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Press the manual/pressure cooker button and set the pot to High Pressure for 3 minutes.
When done, Natural Release for 10 minutes before Quick Releasing.
Fluff with a fork or rice paddle before serving.
How to Cook Jasmine Rice in the Rice Cooker:
Measure the rice with the measuring cup that came with your rice cooker.
Rinse the rice in water and drain two to three times or until the water runs clearer.
Place the rice into your rice cooker and fill it to the water line of your measurement.
Press the cook button or quick cook button for white rice.
Fluff with a rice paddle before serving.
Notes
Add some oil to the Instant Pot liner if you're worried about sticking.
