Black Sesame Milk
A milk alternative, this Black Sesame Milk is an easy delicious drink. This dairy-free milk is nutty and sweet on top of being vegan-friendly.

black sesame seeds

tsp
salt

tsp
vanilla extract

tbsp
maple syrup

filtered water
Instructions
Soak the sesame seeds in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes. Be sure there’s enough water to cover the seeds.
Rinse and drain, using a fine-mesh sieve.
Transfer to the blender with a pinch of salt, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and 4 cups of cold filtered water.
Blend on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes. Taste and add more maple syrup if desired.
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or a nut milk bag or a cheesecloth. Squeeze out as much liquid as you can.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge if not enjoyed immediately.
