4salmon filletsapprox. 1 lb at ½-1 inch thick cut into 4 pieces
Instructions
Combine soy sauce, honey, OJ, garlic, and mirin. Set aside half.
Marinate the salmon in half the teriyaki sauce, skin side up, for 15 to 30 minutes in the fridge.
When ready, spray the air fryer basket with oil. Shake off any excessive marinade and place the salmon, skin side down into the air fryer basket, with some space in between each filet. Discard the used marinade.
Air fry at 400F for 7 to 9 minutes. Air fry in batches if your air fryer basket is not large enough to fit all 4 filets.
Meanwhile, to the half of the teriyaki sauce that’s been set aside, add the cornstarch to it and transfer it to a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat in a small saucepan then reduce the heat to medium and let it reduce for around 8 to 10 minutes until it’s thickened to your liking, stirring frequently.
Gently remove salmon from the air fryer with tongs. Drizzle the cooked sauce on top and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
