Ingredients

Korean Chicken Marinade

  • 1 asian pear chopped roughly
  • 1/2 onion chopped roughly
  • 1/3 cup tamari (or soy) sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp water

Korean Chicken Meal Prep

  • 2 chicken breast cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bag sugar snap peas steams or boiled or raw if you'd like
  • cooked rice

Instructions

Korean Chicken Marinade

  • In a food processor, blend together the asian pear, onion, tamari sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, pepper, water until it's smooth.

Korean Chicken Meal Prep

  • In a ziploc bag, place in your marinade and chicken and let it marinate in the fridge for an hour (or overnight).
  • Once ready, in a hot cast iron, drizzle in some olive oil and pour your chicken in. Let it cook on medium heat, flipping it occasionally. 
  • Once cooked, pack with some rice and snap peas in a bento box and have a delicious Korean Chicken Meal Prep for work.

Notes

If you'd like, set some of the marinade aside and cook it on the stove top for a couple minutes to make it into a sauce to drizzle over the rice and peas.
