Ingredients
2shotsespresso(mine is 4 oz) or ½ cup of strongly brewed coffee
To a measuring cup, add the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, maple syrup, and espresso and mix until well combined.
Heat (and froth if desired) the milk until it is very hot (but not boiling). I use my Smeg, but you can also heat up the milk in a small saucepan. Add it to the pumpkin puree and coffee mixture.
Mix until well combined. Serve as is or strain it through a fine mesh sieve.
Serve immediately with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice if desired.
