Ingredients
For the Blueberry Syrup
1cupblueberriesfresh or frozen
1cupsugar
1cupwater

For the Blueberry Lemonade
1½cupblueberry syrup
2cupsfreshly squeezed lemon juice(5-6 lemons)

Instructions
For the Blueberry Syrup
Combine 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of water. Simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the blueberries as you stir. Strain the blueberry skins from the syrup. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice to the syrup, if desired.
For the Blueberry Lemonade
Add the blueberries and lemon slices to a pitcher.
Add the blueberry syrup, lemon juice, and 3 cups of water to the pitcher.
Stir and let the blueberry lemonade chill in the fridge until ready to enjoy. Serve with ice if desired.
