    Pea Potato Soup

I’ve been obsessed with this pea potato soup lately – you may have seen it often in my stories on Instagram a few times recently. This soup is delicious hot straight from the SoupMaker or chilled in the fridge which makes it the perfect make ahead soup! If you know you’re going to be in a time crunch before dinner the next day or if you’re a fan of soup for lunch, then his soup is perfect for you!

    WHAT IS THE PHILIPS SOUPMAKER?

So what is the SoupMaker? It’s a little (but strong) machine that can make hot and cold soups and smoothies! There are 6 pre-set programs (purée, chunky, cold, compote, smoothies, and thanks to the optimized heating profile, milked-based soup), and you don’t have to stir and monitor during the cooking process!

    Philips SoupMaker

All you have to do is fill your SoupMaker with ingredients up to the min/max line, put the lid on, and pick one of the preset programs. Then 18 minutes later, you’ve got soup! I love that once you’ve turn it on, you’ve got soup cooking without you having to do any hands-on cooking. Without the use of a SoupMaker, you can put everything on the stove top to cook. However, in order to have a smooth creamy soup, you need to use an immersion blender. With the Philips SoupMaker, you can skip that step entirely as it cooks and blends the soup.

Tips and Notes On Making This Soup

    • I store leftover soup in an airtight container to serve chilled the next day.
    • This recipe works with both fresh and frozen peas.
    • The SoupMaker will heat up and sweat a little, don’t be alarmed! It’s just working its magic to cook up the ingredients!
