These candied beets are like eating candy for dinner! Beautiful beets covered in a honey butter brown sugar glaze, they’re the perfect side dish for holiday meals such as Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter!
Candied Beets
Step aside candied carrots, there’s a new favourite side dish in town and it’s these beets! I’m a little obsessed with beets because they last so long in the fridge that if I forget about them for a week, they’re still good to cook! I’m 100% guilty of purchasing a bunch at the farmer’s market then forgetting about them. Sometimes I just get overwhelmed with all the produce options and end up buying too much.
So beets are great for the holiday season as you can grab them ahead of time and store in your fridge without having to worry about them spoiling or having to add another item on your grocery list the two days before your dinner plans.
