This sparkling pear ginger mocktail recipe is an easy drink for any occasion! All you need are three ingredients, and it pairs wonderfully with a variety of meals.

A glass of pear ginger mocktail with a lemon twist garnish. A can of Canada Dry ginger in the back with lemons.

Whether it’s for the holidays, a party, or just to give your weeknight dinner a special touch, this pear ginger mocktail is perfect for any occasion! It’s the perfect blend of sweet and bubbly with a hint of a spicy bite from the ginger, this mocktail has been on repeat at my house.

Inspired by a mocktail that I paid over $15 for what felt like five sips, this bubbly pear ginger mocktail is a much more budget-friendly option that you can easily scale up for parties at home!

    Ingredients You’ll Need

Ingredients needed to make pear ginger mocktails.

All you need are three ingredients and some ice to make this mocktail!

lemon juice — I love how adding lemon juice adds a bright, fresh flavor to the mocktail. I also like to use the lemon peel to make a cute little garnish and any leftover lemon slices to the drink for a pretty looking drink!

pear nectar — you can use pear nectar or pear juice. I find it in the juice section of my local grocery stores, but if I can’t find any, I check the organic section. If you still can’t find it, you could use a juicer and make your own pear juice. Alternatively, you can find pear juice on Amazon!

ginger beer — the ginger beer I use is a non-alcoholic, sweetened, and carbonated drink that has a spicy kick to it. I usually use the Canada Dry version but I’ve found the Fever Tree version at Costco and have been picking them up in bulk!

    ice — gotta have ice!

How to Make a Lemon Twist

Set of two photos showing lemon cut in half then the slice's zest cut off.
    • Wash and dry a lemon and cut a lemon slice that’s around ¼ inch thick (give or take).
    • Using a pairing knife, make a cut from the center of the slice to the end. Then, cut the peel away from the lemon as thinly as possible, making sure that there is as little pith as possible on the peel.
Set of two photos showing lemon peel wrapped around a finger and wrapped around a chopstick.
    • Wrap the lemon peel around your finger, chopstick, or straw and hold onto it for around 10 to 15 seconds to help the peel keep its shape.

    • To a glass, add a couple of lemon slices or wedges and ice cubes.

    • Add the lemon juice, pear nectar, and ginger beer to your glass.
    • Stir to combine and top with a lemon twist if desired.

    Recipe Tips and Notes

    • You can adjust the amount of each ingredient to your taste! It’s a super tasty combo and the ingredients really complement each other.
    • If you want to scale up this mocktail recipe, you can combine the pear nectar and lemon juice in a pitcher ahead of time and refrigerate it. Add the ginger beer and ice before serving, as you don’t want the carbonation of ginger beer to go away.
    • Make sure you are buying ginger beer and not ginger ale, as they’re not the same! Ginger beer has a way stronger ginger kick to it.
    • If you want to take this up a notch, you can also do a cinnamon sugar rim! Add some cinnamon sugar to a small plate, dip or roll the rim of your glass in some honey or simple syrup, and dip or roll the rim over the cinnamon sugar.

Want to try another drink that is perfect for parties? Try my blueberry lemonade, blueberry lavender lemonade, basil lemon, or earl grey iced tea!
