- It doesn’t require a lot of ingredients to make these croutons! Most of these are pantry staples so you can whip up these croutons whenever you feel like it.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- sourdough bread — homemade croutons are perfect for when you have slightly stale bread hanging around the house. I love using sourdough for this recipe as it adds an extra tangy taste. Plus, sourdough is quick thick and sturdy.
- oil — I use olive oil to crisp up the croutons but you can use any oil of your choice. Even flavoured oil!
- seasoning — I seasoned my croutons with garlic powder and onion powder.
- fresh herbs — I use fresh thyme but feel free to switch things around or use dried herbs instead.
