Homemade Baked Chicken Nuggets

If you’ve read my air fryer chicken nugget post, then this will not be a surprise to you that I have a chicken nugget addiction. My friend Brendon and I joked about having a giant chicken nugget mountain for our funerals and whenever there’s a chicken nugget related engagement, someone will send it to me. Plus, I think it’s healthier to make chicken nuggets at home as I know exactly what’s in these little healthy chicken nugget bites! Plus, they’re not deep fried.

When I’m making chicken nuggets, while I like using my air fryer because it doesn’t require pre-heating and cooks the nuggets faster — I know not everyone has an air fryer at home so today’s post is about baking homemade chicken nuggets in an oven. I have a regular oven as well as the Cuisinart Steam & Convection Oven which is what I use to make these homemade nuggets in. Mainly because my oven is filled with a zillion sheet pans and etc. While the bake time doesn’t change, you can definitely scale up this healthy chicken nuggets recipe if you are using a regular oven with multiple racks.
