Air Fryer Parmesan Edamame
Wondering what you can do with frozen edamame? Boy have I got a delicious snack idea for you! I was testing a recipe the other day that involved shelled edamame beans and had a couple cups thawed leftover so I thought I’d try to change it up a bit since I didn’t really feel like snacking of just plain edamame.
This crispy parmesan edamame is so easy to make – you only need a couple pantry staples and the air fryer crisps up the beans in just minutes and you’re left with a crispy edamame snack!
What Is Edamame?
Edamame are edible young soybeans that are harvested and picked before they have ripened. They are sold both with and without the shell. For this recipe, be sure to get them unshelled.
Edamame beans are a great healthy snack as they are low in calorie, high in fibre, and is an excellent source of iron.
