This high-protein Greek yogurt fruit dip comes together in 5 minutes or less! It’s a quick and easy fruit dip recipe that’s perfect for snacking on. It’s also a great healthy dip for parties and gatherings. It uses simple kitchen staples and does not use marshmallow fluff or cream cheese to create its creamy texture.

If you’re looking for an easy appetizer or dessert or just something to snack on, then you need to make this simple Greek yogurt fruit dip! It only requires a handful of ingredients so you’ll want to make this healthy yogurt dip on repeat.

    Why You’ll Love This Recipe

    • You only need 5 ingredients to make this delicious high protein yogurt dip. You likely have most of these ingredients on hand!
    • You can literally make this Greek yogurt fruit dip in 5 minutes or less! You just have to mix everything together.
    • This fruit dip uses healthier ingredients than traditional fruit dip. There is nothing wrong with some Cool Whip, cream cheese, or marshmallow fluff, but this fruit dip uses Greek yogurt, so you can enjoy this dip without worrying about the high sugar content and get some extra protein in!

    Ingredients You’ll Need

Ingredients needed to make greek yogurt fruit dip.

Greek yogurt — feel free to use whatever flavored Greek yogurt you’d like! I usually use plain if I plan on using maple syrup, but flavored Greek yogurt is a great way to change up the fruit dip. You can use low-fat or regular Greek yogurt, but I prefer regular. While regular yogurt is great, this recipe uses Greek yogurt as it is thicker, tangier, and more protein-rich than regular yogurt. It’s also higher in protein and lower in sugar. Lemon flavored Greek yogurt is a great option as well!

vanilla extract — for a hint of vanilla flavor. I recommend real vanilla extract over artificial extract.

cinnamon — I personally like adding cinnamon for a hint of warmth.

maple syrup — or honey for a bit of sweet flavor. If using maple syrup, make sure you are using real maple syrup and not pancake syrup. Real maple syrup comes straight from trees, whereas pancake syrup is usually made with corn syrup.

lemon zest — I love the bright, zesty flavor you get by adding some lemon zest to the fruit dip.

mint — an optional garnish. It adds a pop of color.

dippers — pick your favorite fruit and crackers to serve with this fruit dip!

    Recipe Tips and Notes

    • If you’re packing this out for a party or picnic, I highly recommend packing it in a cooler bag with an ice pack.
    • If you have the time to chill the yogurt fruit dip, it gives time for the flavors to meld together and develop.
    • I use 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, but you can use less, depending on how sweet your yogurt is.
    • I would not recommend freezing this fruit dip for another day. The texture won’t hold up when you thaw it.
    • This fruit dip is not just for fruit! I love serving graham crackers, pretzels, and cookies alongside the fruit.
    • If your fruit dip is a little too thick for your liking, you can add a splash of orange juice to thin it out while adding a citrusy flavor.
    • A spoonful of jam makes for a great addition to the fruit dip. If adding jam, I’d skip the maple syrup to avoid it tasting too sweet.

    Make Ahead Tips

    • Make ahead: store the Greek yogurt dip in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge. You can also portion them out into small individual containers with some fruit to bring to work or school! Just make sure to pack an ice pack!
