This quick pepperoni flatbread pizza is a super easy dinner recipe that comes together in less than 15 minutes! Made with flatbread instead of pizza dough, this homemade pepperoni pizza can be customized with your favorite toppings making for the perfect weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.
When we don’t know what to make for dinner, we usually default to pizza. Fortunately, these pepperoni flatbread pizzas are so easy to make at home that we can save on the delivery and whip them up in minutes.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- This pepperoni flatbread pizza is very straightforward to make with only a handful of ingredients! Plus, a lot of these ingredients are freezer-friendly, so it’s easy to just pull out the ingredients from the freezer for pizza without planning too far ahead.
- Add your own flair to the flatbread pizzas! Top them to your heart’s desire. Be careful not to go too heavy, though; you don’t want the toppings to fall off the pizzas. Mushrooms, pineapple, peppers, and onions make for great pairings for pepperoni.
- It comes together faster than delivery! The pepperoni flatbread pizzas only take 8 to 10 minutes to bake in the oven!
Ingredients You’ll Need

- flatbread — use your favorite flatbread! They make for an amazing base for the pizzas and you don’t have to spend time prepping pizza dough! You can use store-bought ones or make your own! Here’s a link to my homemade flatbread recipe.
- marinara sauce — you can use homemade marinara sauce or store-bought. My go-to sauce is Rao’s. You can also get some with additional flavors, such as basil, mushrooms, etc, to change the recipe up.
- dried oregano — for a bit of extra flavor.
- garlic — I like to grate some garlic onto my sauce, but you can skip that if you’d like.
- cheeses — I use both mozzarella and parmesan cheese. The mozzarella creates a melty base while the parmesan adds a rich, tangy, nutty flavor.
- pepperoni — I use regular pepperoni, but Brooklyn pepperoni or turkey pepperoni is great too!
- basil & red pepper flakes — optional toppings for the flatbread pizzas! you can also add the red pepper flakes to your sauce for a bit of extra heat.
How to Make Flatbread Pepperoni Pizza

- Heat the oven to 425F.
- Place your flatbreads on a lined sheet pan. Add the marinara sauce to the middle and spread it over using the back of a spoon or spatula, leaving some space at the edge to create a crust.
- Add some dried oregano and grated garlic over the sauce if desired.
- Top the flatbreads with shredded mozzarella and parmesan.

- Then evenly place the pepperoni around the flatbreads.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the flatbreads pizza has turned golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting to serve.

Recipe Tips and Notes
- Give the flatbread pizza a minute or two to cool before cutting to give the cheese a chance to hold together. If you cut too early, the cheese will just be stuck to your knife or pizza cutter.
- One of my favorite swaps is using garlic flatbread instead of regular flatbread for extra garlic flavor.
- Other cheeses I love to use include provolone, goat cheese, monterey jack, and burrata.
- If you’re adding veggies such as mushrooms, bell peppers, etc, you’ll want to pre-cook it first as the 8 minutes in the oven won’t be enough to cook the vegetables through.
- Don’t go tooooo heavy on the cheese, as it can weigh down the pizza and slide off.

Make Ahead Tips
- Meal prep: once cooled, store the cooked pepperoni pizza in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
- Freezer: once cooled, wrap the flatbread pizzas tightly in plastic before transferring to a freezer-safe bag then freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat directly from frozen.
