These Grab and Go Instant Pot Frittatas are the perfect breakfast meal prep for busy mornings.
Grab and Go Instant Pot Frittata
Mornings can be tough but that doesn’t mean your breakfast has to suffer. As someone who will try to sleep until the very last possible minute, I’m here to help you make sure you too can sleep until the last possible minute without compromising on your first meal of the day!
I love eating a frittata in the morning because it’s such an easy to make sure that you’re getting an early start on your veggie consumption. With these fun little grab and go mason jar frittatas, it makes it much easier to eat breakfast on the go (or take it on the go!). These Instant Pot meal prep frittatas are perfect if you like to keep things different. For example, you can pair up a little mason jar of frittatas with a homemade parfait or you can make them all with different fillings. What I like to do is microwave one to eat and put another one in my bag so I can eat it once I get to work.
With the Instant Pot, these frittatas are so easy to make. They’re also super easy to make in bulk as you can just stack more mason jars on top of each other inside the pot. I prefer to make these frittatas inside of the Instant Pot as it keeps the oven free to use for roasting vegetables and etc during my weekend meal prep session.

Tips and Notes on Making this Instant Pot Frittata Meal Prep
- This recipe has only been testing in the Instant Pot Duo 6 Qt
- Even if you plan on eating the frittatas in the mason jar, I’d recommend coating the jar in olive oil still – it makes clean up a lot easier as the egg can get pretty stuck on the jars.
- Love cheese? Place some cheese on top of the frittata when done so when you reheat it, the cheese meats on top!
- Want to change things up? Here are some fun frittata filling ideas:
- tomato
- sun dried tomato
- kale
- ham

Can these be frozen in the jar?
Carmy
Yes, however you’d have to thaw it in the fridge the night before as a sudden change in temp straight from the freezer to the microwave could crack the glass.
