Soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, you have to try this Air Fryer Gnocchi recipe. It’s so easy to make and is made in only a couple of minutes!
I love gnocchi and always have a package in my pantry since they last forever. If you’ve seen my other air fryer gnocchi post then you’ll know I have this curiosity about if something can be air fried. I’ve made a Sheet Pan Gnocchi Meal Prep in the past so logically it made sense that if gnocchi can be baked then it could be air fried. So after some experimenting, I’ve nailed how to make gnocchi in the air fryer and am low-key obsessed with it.

Recipe Tips and Notes
- This recipe has only been tested with shelf-stable potato gnocchi. I have not tested this with frozen gnocchi, cauliflower gnocchi, fresh gnocchi, etc. I have tried the cheese-filled gnocchi, you can click over for the post.
- While I can snack on these on their own, you can serve it up with some marinara sauce, pesto sauce, bbq sauce, Homemade Creamy Roasted Garlic, Firecracker Sauce, Hummus Salad Dressing, and more!
- I use a Philips XXL air fryer which does not require preheating. If your air fryer model requires you to preheat, you should do so for 1-3 minutes.
Seasoning Variations
Here are so other seasonings you can use instead of what I used:
- Cajun
- Paprika
- Chinese 5 spice
- Grated parmesan
- Dried basil
- Old bay seasoning
- Taco seasoning
Make Ahead Tips
- Meal prep: once cooled, store the cooked gnocchi in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
- Reheat: I like to reheat mine in the air fryer. Just spray a bit of olive oil onto the gnocchi and air fry until it has warmed through.
